Tue July 29 - 7:00 pm
At 7:00 p.m., women from all over the world will gather at the Hyatt Regency’s Plaza International Ballroom for fellowship and worship. The service will feature Scripture reading in multiple languages and a Caribbean choir directed by Patricia Charles. Keynote speaker for the service will be Deven Wallace, co-pastor, with her husband, Kevin, of Redemption Point Church in Ooltewah, Tennessee. Earlier this year, Redemption Point purchased a portion of the former Tennessee Temple University campus in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. Redemption Point now conducts worship on two campuses. The Chattanooga worship venue was formerly occupied by Highland Park Baptist Church.
“Many women have requested a special event to be held at the General Assembly, so Women’s Discipleship is expecting a capacity crowd,” stated Lorna Gosnell, coordinator of women’s discipleship. Gosnell stated that in order to attend, all women are asked to register for the service when they fill out their General Assembly registration. Only those who have signed up in advance and received a door pass will be permitted to attend, as only the first 2,250 registrants can be accommodated.
The theme of the service is “One Family Through Christ’s Blood,” based on Ephesians 2:11-22. In addition to the Caribbean choir, worship will be led by Jihan Cox. The service will be translated into Spanish. - See more at: http://www.faithnews.cc/?p=17043#sthash.Fvi7pG71....
