Evangelist Barnett received her ministerial education through various biblical institutions. She attended Florida Atlantic University and is a graduate of the Church of God School of Ministry Ministerial Internship Program. She is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God, headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, where both her parents, Bishop Septimus E. Reid and First Lady Louise S. Reid were also both ministers.

ASSEMBLY SPEAKERS

What to expect

The General Assembly is always an exciting time for our movement. Worship services will be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit as we welcome our special guests, Joycelyn Barnett and Samuel Rodriguez, as well as Deven Wallace, who will be ministering in the special women’s service in the Hyatt on Tuesday night. Gatherings of special groups, educational institutions, states and regions are also a highlight of the week. Of course, the deliberations and decisions of the General Council, followed by the General Assembly on Friday, are historic as together we chart the future for our denomination. I look forward to ministering in the opening service on Wednesday.
